- Outline a Plan of Action & Milestones (POAM)
- Understand Domain Name Server validation
- Assess modifications needed to facilitate DNSSEC
- Develop a schedule and timeline to phase in DNSSEC

DNS Security (DNSSEC) Training for DNS Administrators: Using the DMS Offline Signing Application - 1 day offsite/onsite
Data Mountain Offline Signing Application Training provides hands on, repeatable workflow to assist organizations in the adoption and deployment of DNS Security (DNSSEC).
Students will be presented with the required skills to implement and operate DNSSEC for an organization.
(Students must bring wireless laptop with CD drive and DHCP networking enabled)

- Develop operational procedures for DNS Security
- Updating email, VOIP, and web applications for DNSSEC
- Configuring and maintaining DNS validation
- Generate key repository and sign current domains
- Define and deploy an early warning system to invoke emergency procedures
